Ok lets first start by saying my new addiction has begun…. Twitter. I have always thought about writing an im client that is portable and interactive but I had always thought that people would feel it was too invasive. Many of the people I talk to have a limit to the amount of access they want to give others/coworkers/friends but this tool just goes over that line and keeps going until it beyond open. What I found was that among all the people out there the educated community is very open to this type of openness and exposure to a fault. But within that exposure its a huge global conversation which although invasive is quite hard to tune out of once you tune in. With all the top developers, bloggers and local celebs I found it bring life to a rather quite day. Great work to the twitter folks but even more I think the users are to credit for the willingness and desire to adopt it.
